About
John Adams

John Adams is well known for his leadership in the Georgia real estate industry, his advocacy for reform in housing policy, and his support for advanced training and education for real estate professionals. He has often been called “Atlanta’s most trusted voice in real estate.”
As a sophomore at Emory University, John was assigned a class project to study the feasibility of a run-down apartment complex in a rough part of metro Atlanta. He located a worn-out 38-unit property, bought it for a thousand dollars down, and received an A for the semester. John has never looked back.
Today, John owns and manages close to twenty residential units on his own account, including houses, apartments, condos, beach properties (three at last count), and one commercial building he purchased accidentally.
His weekend investment seminars at Emory University in Atlanta have attracted overflow crowds for years, and his call-in radio program on the EXCELLENCE IN MONEY Radio Network on Saturdays is listened to by thousands of listeners nationwide every week.
His Sunday column in the BUSINESS section of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is the product of years of helping home buyers and sellers, and listening to their concerns. He is a regular contributor to CNN and Fox5 WAGA in Atlanta.
John sees the current economy as a great time to buy a house because interest rates are still historically low, inventory is stabilizing, and the “real” price of ownership is reasonable. In short, it’s a great time to buy a house!
As John says: “For most Americans, owning a home is still the best investment they will ever make.”
